Hi everyone!
I just got back from an incredible vacation, but I feel slightly guilty because it has almost been 2 weeks since I last worked out. For someone who stretches and does core exercises daily, this is a huge amount of time for me. I know that my body needed the rest, but I honestly feel better and more motivated when I am working out consistently. I find that home workouts are the easiest to do because 1- they are in the comfort and convenience of your own home and 2- they are FREE!
Since I haven’t had time to create new recipes lately, I decided to share the workouts that I implement in my daily fitness routine. I try to do at least 2 videos (alternating between abs and butt workouts) every morning or night during the week (30-45 min/day), excluding weekends so I can rest. Again, I listen to my body, and even if I don’t feel like doing a workout, I try to do a 5 minute video because I believe that a short workout is better than no workout. My belief is that if you are working on your core consistently, you will see better results than if you were to do long and gruelling workouts only once or twice a week. From my personal experience, I feel and look my best when I am stretching and exercising my body every morning. In my opinion, core workouts are a great way to start the day, and the heavier glute workouts are a perfect way to end the day.
I got into home workout videos a couple years ago, upon the discovery of Cassey Ho’s Blogilates. I was instantly hooked on her energy and positivity – I absolutely love that she talks to you during her videos. It truly feels like you are in one of her pilates classes, and her workouts are also great for beginners. Though I have moved on to more resistance training/glute activation videos, Blogilates will always have a special place in my heart. <3 Here are my some of favs below:
Blogilates – 10 Min Core Workout
Blogilates – 10 Min Booty Routine
Blogilates – 12 Min Obliques Workout
Blogilates – 12 Min Butt Lift & Abs Chisel
Blogilates – 7 Min Butt Lift Workout
Blogilates – 3 Min Butt Shaper
Currently, I am completely hooked on Chloe Ting’s videos. She plays good music and her workouts kill me in the best possible way. Her best videos target your core (lower abs/obliques) and butt (if you’re looking to grow your glutes). I try to do at least 2 of her videos per day because I find them so effective! Her glute activation videos allow you to incorporate weights or resistance bands in your home workouts as well, to get results faster.

Chloe Ting – 10 Mins Obliques Workout
Chloe Ting – 30 Min Glute Activation
I first discovered Maddie Lymburner on Instagram, which took me to her Youtube videos. Maddie is Canadian, vegan, and her body is killer. She is naturally petite, but her core is strong. In her videos, she does the workouts with you and has a nice timer in between moves. Her videos are relatively quick and easy to do daily.

Check out the links, and let me know if you want me to do another post with my favourite videos that target specific areas. Also, it’s important to remember that muscle growth requires PROTEIN, and every workout should follow with a protein shake/smoothie or a protein-rich meal. Plant-based protein is the cleanest, easiest, and most cruelty-free source of protein you can find. Check out my recipe link here for plant-protein inspired recipes. 🙂
