I don’t think I will ever get tired of green smoothies. Seriously.
Having a green smoothie bowl in the morning is the easiest way to get my daily greens in, and makes me look and feel amazing. Even when I’ve been lazy and slacking on the healthy food front, I just whip up a green smoothie bowl like this one and feel instantly better.
As someone who eats 100% plant-based, I am surprisingly bad at getting all my greens in. That’s why I usually add a veggie greens powder supplement to my smoothies. This one by Veg Essential is my go-to because a single scoop has 6-8 servings of vegetables, 27 grams of vegan protein, 7 grams of fibre, omega-3 plant oils, and the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs to function at an optimal level.
Though I do like to supplement as much as possible to make sure I’m getting enough nutrients, it’s always best to eat fresh fruit and vegetables in their truest and rawest form to get the most health benefits out of them.
